ACI Committee 124, Concrete Aesthetics, and the ACI Pittsburgh Area Chapter seek submissions of notable concrete in the Pittsburgh area for publication at the ACI Fall 2010 Convention in Pittsburgh, Pa. Participants are invited to submit images with brief descriptions of notable concrete in the Pittsburgh area. Significance may be historical, aesthetic, functional, structural, construction-related, unusual use or application, or simply personal affection. Images, along with name and location, and contact information should be sent to Michael Paul at mpaul@duffnet.com no later than July 1, 2010.
Research in Progress
ACI Committee 123, Research and Current Developments, seeks papers for the technical session “Research in Progress.” Participants are invited to submit presentations related to any aspect of an ongoing research program highlighting the overall scope of the research, methods of investigation, test procedures, results, and conclusions to date.
