The Arizona ACI Chapter will be conducting a short review session for the ACI Lab Testing Tech Level 2 program on October 1st at Western Technologies office in Phoenix. The Exams (written and performance) will be conducted the next day, October 2nd, at Hanson Aggregate's lab in El Mirage. To participate in this session a person should hold a current certification as an ACI Lab Testing Tech Level 1 and as a Field Testing Tech Grade 1. This is an advanced certification that requires extensive knowledge and experience. The 1/2 day review session will not be enough to prepare a person who is not experienced. Self study prior to taking these exams is highly recommended. ADOT currently recognizes mix design submittals prepared and signed by by individuals with this certification. This will be the last scheduled opportunity to obtain this certification in Phoenix this year.
