2009 Fees and Schedule Set - Registration to Open December 1

The Arizona ACI Chapter's Board of Directors and Certification Committee have met and set fees for all ACI certification programs conducted by the Chapter. In 2009, the fees for Chapter Members will remain unchanged. The fees charged to non-members will be increased by $75. The Board also authorized the extension of the existing ADOT to extend the certification programs to ADOT personnel through January 2010 at the current pricing.
 
The 2009 schedule is being finalized and will be posted by December 1st. The Chapter will conduct Field Grade 1 certification sessions each month in Phoenix, once per quarter in Tucson, twice in Flagstaff, and at least twice in Yuma. Strength Testing Technician will be scheduled for every other month begining in January in Phoenix, and will also offer at least one program in Tucson and one in Yuma.
 
Flatwork finisher and tilt-up certifications will continue to be offered on demand. The special concrete inspector and concrete transportation inspector exams will be offered at all the strength certification sessions.
 
The Chapter is wrapping up the details for conducting the Aggregate Level 1 program. The level 1 program is a prerequisit to getting the ACI Lab Tech Certification. Four sessions in Phoenix and one in Yuma are planned for 2009.
